Most Americans will claim that they strongly support the Constitution, but then again, most Americans don't really think about what that means. In fact, our school system routinely ignores, and sometimes celebrates, instances where past Presidents have blatently violated the Constitution. A prime example is when Lincoln freed the slaves.

As I promised, I am restarting my blog with the new year; and as I suspected, my first post will be about how incompetent the Republicans in Congress are. It has now reached a point that one must wonder if they are trying to destroy the Republican Party. Let me describe the failures and what this really means.

Merry Christmas!

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and to thank you once again for all of your support on my Congressional campaign. While we were unsuccessful in our election this year, rest assured that I have not given up efforts to preserve our freedoms, and I hope that you haven't either. Our strategies may change, but our goal of freedom remains.

Thank You!

With 4 days to go until the Republican primary, things are really starting to heat up. Since our last e-mail, we have also received an endorsement from Gerald Geddes, former candidate for the 11th District U.S. House seat. We now enjoy the official endorsement of both former candidates in the race.

We also had two great events to build name recognition; Congressman Gerry Connolly even enjoyed one of our bottles of water at Viva Vienna.

After more than a year on the campaign t= rail, my primary opponent has finally explained how he wants to cut government spending:

Incumbent Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA) recently warned us that the message of fiscal responsibility caused several European politicians to lose their elections. Clearly, career-politician Connolly is only concerned about winning his election. I am concerned about America’s future, and I believe America can learn a lot from the current European crisis.

As if to demonstrate how much of a leftist he really is, Gerry Connolly decided to show his support for the French Socialist Party by tweeting “Hollande’s defeat of Sarkozy in France a warning to those advocating austerity

As of today, we have added $5 trillion dollars to the national debt since Obama took office. To put that number into perspective, it equates to roughly $45,000 per American household. We were told we had to spend this money to save the economy, but has it made us better off?
