As we all know, the Senate has failed to pass a budget in roughly four years. But this year, it seems to be getting worse. The President is also failing to offer his plan. He is required by law to submit a budget by the first Monday in February. It is now a month late.
Perhaps the most disturbing thing about this is the press's failure in covering this issue. There were a few articles around the budget deadline with vague references that his budget would be released anywhere from a few days late to as late as mid-March; but a google search for "2014 Obama Budget" fails to turn up any major news reports since early February.
And of course this occurs when the Obama debt just passed $6 trillion (the national debt was $10.6 trillion when he took office and it just passed $16.6 trillion). Yet another story that received scant reporting in our media.
