There has been a lot of debate over the health care proposals currently in front of Congress. Unfortunately, very little of the debate looks at the situation from an honest perspective. Instead, each side wants to portray the other side as evil while ignoring the problems and challenges within their own side. To understand this problem, we must first understand how insurance is supposed to work and what it has mutated into.

Most people alive during the Nixon years will remember his Saturday Night Massacre. The short version of the story is that Nixon dismissed special prosecutor Archibald Cox, and accepted the resignation of Attorney General Elliot Richardson and Deputy Attorney General William Ruckelshaus during the Watergate scandal.
What can anyone take from this story other than Obama is telling anyone in government to stop investigating his friends.
The politicians don't want to tell the truth so they lie. The media likes the current set of politicians (or are just afraid of them?), so they promote the lie. But are the American people really this stupid?

Obama is now proposing another minor change to America. He wants to raise business taxes - hardly a surprise. The AP decided to write an article on the subject entitled, "Obama to crack down on business taxes." This sounds like a reasonable title until one reads the third to last paragraph:
